At six months your Rottweiler may look surprisingly grown-up. Mentally, however, adolescence is only beginning — commands that seemed completely understood a few weeks ago may suddenly appear optional.

Focus on creating a dog that can calmly function in everyday life. A well-trained Rottweiler should eventually be able to walk past another dog, see strangers, wait at doors and settle in public without needing to interact with everything around them.
