Improve Behaviour
Behind almost every unwanted behaviour is a need that is not being met. Address the cause, not just the symptom.

Jumping up
Turn your back and ignore the moment paws leave the ground. Reward all four paws on the floor with attention. Ask visitors to do the same — one exception ruins a week of work.
Pulling on the leash
A pulling Rottweiler is exhausting to walk. Combine loose-leash training (see Basic Commands) with a proper front-clip harness. Never yank; consistency is stronger than force.
Excessive barking
Identify the trigger: boredom, alert, frustration or fear. Meet the underlying need — more exercise, more mental work, distance from the trigger — then teach a 'quiet' cue with rewards.
Resource guarding
Never take things away by force. Trade for something better, teach 'drop it' with rewards and feed in a calm space. Consult a certified behaviourist if guarding involves growling or snapping.
When to get help
Sudden changes, aggression or fear that grows over weeks are signals to book a force-free professional trainer or veterinary behaviourist. Earlier is easier and cheaper than later.
