I’m Victor de Ridder, the creator of RottieBuddy.com. In daily life, I work as a web developer. Recently I was developing a game for a client when I suddenly thought about my Rottweiler Tyson.
Tyson was around 45 kg and looked every bit like a big, confident Rottie. But cats? Cats were a completely different story. He was genuinely wary of them, which was always funny to see in such a powerful dog.
That memory gave me an idea: what if I built a 3D Rottweiler game where the cats are actually the danger?
What started as a small experiment quickly became RottieBuddy Adventures, made especially for the readers of RottieBuddy.com and everyone who loves Rottweilers.
Your Rottie has one mission: find all five bones. Unfortunately, the backyard is full of cats that would very much like to ruin the run.
Run, turn and jump around a fully 3D backyard. Mobile controls are included too.
The cats patrol the yard, chase Bruno when he gets close and take health when they catch him.
Pick up rotating red hearts to restore health and stay in the game.
Cross the deck, jump obstacles and dive into the swimming pool — splash included.
The level opens fullscreen and the three-minute countdown begins.
Five bones are randomly scattered through the backyard each time you play.
Cats patrol and chase. A collision removes 20% of your health.
Find the final bone before your health or the timer reaches zero.
The backyard is only the beginning.
In Forest Run, Bruno heads into the woods, chasing rabbits and deer while trying not to collide with trees and other obstacles.
See if you can clear Backyard Bone Hunt — and keep an eye out for Forest Run next week.
